If you or one of your neighbors has a fruit tree that is not going to be harvested, let us know. We’ll be happy to help pick the fruit. You’ll be providing natural food to people who could use it, diminish the cleanup from having the fruit falling to the ground, and enjoy knowing that you’ve done a good deed.
Harvest Yards depends on your donations to help provide the services necessary to provide food to people who are hungry. What do we need? To harvest a backyard we need ladders, fruit-picking equipment, boxes, vehicles, fuel, etc. Donations of equipment, money, and your time are vital to continue providing help. We’ll even give you a receipt for the donation that you can use for your tax purposes for all money and materials that you are willing to give.
You can also donate to the maintenance and continued development of the Harvest Yards App. We are looking for administrative volunteers for data entry, phone verifications, and other technical activities.
